Proud Mary Theatre is thrilled to present our first 2023 show: A Very Sordid Tribute to Sordid Lives stars Olivia Newton-John and Leslie Jordan featuring cast members from Sordid Lives, Southern Baptist Sissies, A Very Sordid Wedding, 5 Lesbians Eating A Quiche, Head Over Heels (Proud Mary Theatre) and Xanadu (Spartanburg Little Theatre), plus special guests. Join the cast members for an evening of incredible music and comedy as we honor the bountiful lives and careers of two lost legends, in addition to silent & live auctions, raffle, trivia and drag entertainment.

International star Olivia Newton-John had a red-hot music career and acting roles in Grease, Xanadu and the Sordid Lives franchise as the lesbian guitar-strumming ex-con Bitsy Mae Harling. Olivia lost her battle with cancer on August 8, 2022, at age 73.

Television and film actor Leslie Jordan’s career includes roles in Will and Grace, The Help, American Horror Story, Southern Baptist Sissies, and the Sordid Lives franchise as Tammy Wynette-loving psychiatric patient Brother Boy. Leslie died in a car accident on October 24, 2022.
